Born in Jamaica, West Indies, Margaret is known as one of the finest dancers of ballroom, latin and adagio dancing with superb physical gifts. Early on in her career she became one of the original members of the American Ballroom Theatre and later Peter Maxwell's Ballroom Dance Theatre, in New York City.

Margaret has trained extensively in New York and London with the top coaches in the world. She started competing successfully in the American Style, was accepted into the Frank Hatchett Jazz Company in New York, and moved on to becoming a top competitor in International Style Standard and Latin as well as the Cabaret Division. In love with all forms of dance, she added Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing, Hustle and Salsa to her repertoire. Margaret holds titles as World Exhibition Champion, United States Ten-Dance Champion and she also holds three different British titles.

As coach, choreographer and performer Margaret has travelled the world with wonderful success. She travels extensively adjudicating, coaching and lecturing.

Margaret holds Licenses & Certificates as a Fellow NADTA, Member PANAM, Member IDTA, is a World Class Adjudicator in All Styles with the NDCA and WD&DSC.
